Presenter: Chris Musselwhite

Chris Musselwhite (our generous host for TCC for the last 5 years) has gone through the same series of transitions that we, and many of our small business clients, experience, such as:

·      Entrepreneurship – starting a business

·      Strategic thinking – how to develop and grow that business

·      Family business

·      Business transition – preparing that business for eventual sale and

·      Personal transition

Through it all, he has had his own research into change management to reflect on and guide him. As an active member of a robust OD community, he has also been able to engage the thinking and support of others. Chris will spend the morning working with us to help us understand how we as coaches can support ourselves (as small business owners), and our clients through similar transitions.  

Chris Musselwhite launched Discovery Learning in 1990. He has worked in organizational and leadership development for more than 30 years and has developed numerous products such as The Change Style Indicator, The Influence Style Indicator and The Change Navigator. He has developed numerous programs covering leadership development, creativity and innovation, change management and team building. In his earlier career, Chris served as a Kellogg Fellow and as an associate professor of engineering and industrial management at N.C. A&T State University as well as a senior program associate at the Center for Creative Leadership. Chris spends a lot of time with his family, practicing yoga, hiking and can be found many Saturdays at the Greensboro Curb Market.
