How to Evaluate Your Impact as a Coach: Design & Implementation of a Plan to Evaluate Impact

This program will address how you, as a coach, can design a plan to evaluate your impact when working with clients.  Kara will engage participants in a discussion around what intended outcomes for coaching may be and then present a framework for the design an implementation of a Coaching Impact Evaluation Plan.  Participants will be lead through a process of identifying their intended outcomes, designing ways to evaluate their clients’ experience according to those outcomes, and how they may interpret and apply the results toward the continuous improvement of their service delivery.

Kara Penfield is the new Coaching Talent Manager at the Center for Creative Leadership.  She has worked in leadership development, institutional effectiveness, and assessment-related positions for over 20 years. Kara’s career in leadership began with the Walt Disney World Company where she was responsible for operations and professional development for multiple sales and marketing teams. Since moving to North Carolina, Kara has continued to serve as a consultant to other universities, including University of North Carolina Greensboro, Wake Forest University, and University of North Carolina School of the Arts.  She received a Bachelor of Arts in psychology from West Virginia University, and a Masters and Doctorate in school psychology from the University of Florida.
