I'm the Director of Employment Practice Consulting at RiskVersity, a minority-owned risk management firm. My area typically helps our client with issues related to HR, organizational change, and/or DEI+. I'm looking to partner with coaches who can be subcontractors on our projects. We are based in Cincinnati, Ohio but I live in Greensboro.
Our clients are all over the country and within the Dutch Caribbean. They range from nonprofits and municipalities to multi-national corporations.
I'm a native Ohioan who's lived in the Carolinas (north and south) for 20 years now. I started my career as a corporate HR practitioner with an emphasis on employee relations, performance management, and leadership development. I later decided to pursue a PhD in HR and Organizational Behavior at the University of South Carolina. Upon graduation, I transitioned to become a full time tenure track professor of HR. A few years later, my hubby and a business partner started our risk management firm, RiskVersity. I eventually left full time university work to service as a leader in our consulting firm. I still teach 2 courses in the Spring semester at the Fuqua School of Business (Duke Univ).
