Change, Emotions & Resiliency with Chris Musslewhite, President and Founder of Discovery Learning

While change is an event in time the emotional response to change is a process of transition over time. Emotion plays an important role on an individual’s commitment and resiliency and can be critical to the success or failure of a change initiative.  When leaders understand this they are better able to help themselves and others to transform their reactions from resistance into resiliency.  This session will explore the newest tool from Discovery Learning, Change Navigator, and how it can assist you as a coach to help the leaders you work with more effectively navigate change.

Chris Musselwhite is founder and president of Discovery Learning which is entering its 25th year.  He is the designer of several change related assessment tools and simulations including Change Style Indicator, Change Readiness Gauge, OurTown, Paper Planes and Influence Style Indicator.   Chris was selected by WorldWide Who’s Who as the 2013 executive of the year representing the change management industry.  His latest article, Change Readiness is the New Change Management appears in the Winter 2014 issue of Harvard Business Review OnPoint.
