Our Community Partnerships

TCC partners with community nonprofits and other like-minded organizations to elevate the value that professional coaching offers individuals and organizations.

Our partners contribute more than money. Their collaboration, volunteer power, in-kind support and more are helping all of us build stronger and healthier communities.

The Center for Creative Leadership

As a nonprofit, CCL believes that leadership is the critical lever for igniting positive, transformative, and sustainable change, at a time when the world requires new thinking and vision to solve both local and global challenges. Founded in 1970, their mission has been to advance the understanding, practice, and development of leadership for the benefit of society worldwide. CCL strives to make the world a better place through more effective leadership.

Currently, CCL provides Triad Coaching Connection with complementary use of their flagship campus in Greensboro, North Carolina. TCC recognizes and appreciates the value that this partnership continues to bring to our coaching community.

The Guilford Nonprofit Consortium

The Guilford Non-Profit Consortium sponsors the Executive Leadership Academy (ELA) which is a six-month training session designed to build the leadership capacity of the local nonprofit sector by providing a unique opportunity for executive directors and senior leaders to gain world-class leadership and coaching skills.

The program matches participants with professional executive coaches and provides a collaboratively designed curriculum to meet the specific needs of the class. A requirement of acceptance to the Academy is that participants are willing to consider becoming coaches/mentors for new or less experienced executive directors in the community.

The Greensboro Science Center

The Greensboro Science Center and Triad Coaching Connection have partnered to provide each nonprofit a richer experience for their members. TCC partner coaches provide coaching to GSC management while GSC is making the center available to TCC partner coaches and is offering their facility for potential programming and meeting space.

More about Greensboro Science Center

The Greensboro Science Center is a zoo, aquarium, museum and adventure park. GSC is a premier family attraction in North Carolina that offers the state's first accredited inland aquarium; a hands-on science museum; an accredited zoological park; a state-of-the-art OmniSphere Theater; FLYWAY at Battleground Parks District, a zipline experience over Country Park; The Rotary Club of Greensboro Carousel; and SKYWILD, an animal-inspired treetop adventure park. The GSC is also NC's only dually accredited Association of Zoos & Aquariums (AZA) and American Alliance of Museums (AAM) science attraction - an honor only fourteen (14) attractions in the nation can claim.

The recent and renewed magnification of science in our daily lives has proved to be essential for rationally forging ahead as individuals, families, businesses and communities in modern society. Greensboro and the Triad are the true beneficiaries of unprecedented science-based tourism expansion that began when a small group of science-minded citizens asked the question, “Why not?”
