We have all spent time speaking with someone about careers. How much time have we spent on some self-reflection with our own career so that we can best serve others? We will discuss career transition, career coaching and development, and work to understand what drives our career choices, especially during career transition situations.

Eric Melniczek has served at High Point University Career & Internship Services since August 2009. He has five years of experience as a recruiter in the executive search industry and 13 years of experience working with alumni, students, parents, faculty, and employers in University career services. Eric is focused on seeing clients develop a deep level of career maturity and enjoys working with students during those “light bulb going off moments.” He holds academic degrees in Liberal Arts, Office Systems Technology, Business Administration – Management, Educational Leadership & Policy Studies – Higher Education and Student Affairs Administration, and Management and Leadership in Non-Profit Organizations. Eric has an avid interest in travel, hiking, the transition from college to the world of work, old school professional wrestling, real estate, personal finance, volunteering with non-profit organizations, and connecting people.
